Take a picture every time you move a small distance, don't just take a few isolated angles from the front, side and back. The algorithm needs to find the same detail from consecutive frames to stably calculate the camera position.
What materials are likely to cause reconstruction failure?
Large areas of solid color, clear glass, mirrored metal, moving objects, and changing light all make reconstruction more difficult. Blur, overexposure, duplicate photos and insufficient frame overlap can also cause missing surfaces, floating spots or local misalignment. When encountering reflective and transparent objects, you should first conduct a sample test, adjust the soft light, background and shooting distance, and then decide whether to collect in batches.
How to check the results after uploading
First check whether the main body is complete, whether key edges are stable, and whether there is obvious floating content; then check whether the proportions, materials, and details meet the purpose of display. If used for surveying or engineering review, accuracy also needs to be verified in conjunction with control points, LiDAR, or other reliable data. Display effect and engineering accuracy are two sets of acceptance criteria. The end use and delivery format should be clear before the project begins.
